On Wednesday, we started the first session of our Muttering Bird project. Our young makers learnt about the different types of wood they will be working with and created prototypes of a bird in softwood, practising how to mark, measure, saw, and refine using a rasp file.
We still have free spaces available – but only until 8th October 2025! If you know a child aged 10–14 (Years 6–9) who can get to Holborn Library after school, don’t miss out on the chance to join our exciting project.
