Design and create your own uniquely personalised leather bag in this fun and hands-on workshop. Be bold and dynamic with your ideas as you explore essential leather craft techniques — from cutting and stitching to finishing — to bring your vision to life. No experience needed, just a willingness to get creative and enjoy the process!

This project is being run in partnership with Candice Lau, a professional leatherwork maker, who works at Cockpit Arts. Candice is a master leatherworker and artist who has over 10 years of experience and makes amazing leather creations. She was born in Hong Kong, grew up in Australia, and trained in Italy. She now works in London at her own studio. She has made special leather pieces for famous brands like Hermès, New Balance, and Lacoste – find out more here.

In every fashion collection, there’s often a standout leather accessory — a hero piece that embodies the story and spirit of the collection. These uniquely designed items go beyond function, becoming powerful symbols of the designer’s vision. Often produced in limited numbers, they can evolve into coveted collector’s items, celebrated for their craftsmanship, rarity, and narrative value.
