Overview
Sew Many Ideas is a 10-week after-school sewing project where participants design and make their own bags and accessories.

Students learn to cut fabric with scissors and rotary cutters, sew seams and edges with a machine, and decorate with applique and bonded web. Using pre-loved fabrics, they practise problem-solving, research, and design – gaining creative, practical, and sustainable sewing skills for beginners.

The project develops understanding and confidence using sewing machines, encourages upcycling, and results in unique, practical bags to keep or give away as a gift.
