Spring Term — Thursdays, starting 8th January 2026
Unfortunately, the application deadline has now passed for this project and now closed. Please sign up for updates to be notified of up-coming after-school programmes.
Bring your favourite famous person to life – in clay! In this project you’ll learn how to sculpt a bust and create a funny, exaggerated caricature that will be fired and painted. Draw inspiration from artists like Daumier, or from TV shows such as Newzoids and Spitting Image, which turn real faces into playful artworks.
You’ll learn lots of skills, from caricature sketching and clay modelling to painting and decorating your sculpture. At the end, it’s yours to keep and proudly display on a plinth!
